Known to be the highest battleground in the world, the Siachen Glacier is a must-visit for all the adventure-seekers visiting Ladakh. Located at a height of 6,000 metres, the glacier has extreme weather conditions making it difficult to survive for the army officials posted here. Due to extreme weather conditions and continuous conflict, tourists are only allowed to visit Warshi for now- a similar area that comes on the way to Siachen Glacier.
